the terms, in plain words

BackPocket Mom isn't live yet. right now there's just this page and the chance to leave your email so we can tell you when it's ready. here's the spirit of the agreement we'll write properly before launch.

what you're signing up for today

if you leave your email, you're asking us to write to you once — the day the app launches — and you're agreeing that we may keep your email with our email provider until then. that's the whole deal for now. you can ask us to remove you at any time, no reason needed.

what we'll ask later, when the app exists

when BackPocket Mom launches, using it will mean creating an account and agreeing to the full terms we publish then. in short: use the app for your own family and helpers, don't try to break or misuse it, and keep your login to yourself. we'll spell out the details clearly — no surprises buried in clause forty-one.

what you can expect from us

we'll do our honest best to keep the app working, your data safe, and our word about privacy. like any service, we can't promise it will be flawless or never go down — but we'll be straight with you when something goes wrong, and we'll never treat your data as something to sell.

your content stays yours

the photos, documents, and notes you add are yours. you grant us only the permission needed to store them, show them back to you, and share them where you ask us to. you can export or delete them at any time.

changes to these terms

since this is a pre-launch draft, it will change — the real version arrives with the app. if we make a meaningful change after launch, we'll tell you in plain language rather than quietly updating a page.
